2012 Jim Redgate Double Top Lattice Guitar (Spruce)
Literally just arrived in our showroom! This was a special-commissioned guitar built for a high- end player and collector to join his 2010 Jim Redgate Cedar.
The 2012 Redgate I have currently for sale is a Double featuring Spruce/Cedar double top the idea is that it delivers the best of both tonal woods.
It is in mint condition and is a great example of Jim Redgate’s work and when the current owner bought it through Jim Redgate’s authorised world-wide agent Chris Kamen he paid $20,000.00.
No expense has been spared and in terms of add-ons this guitar also had the Deluxe Rogers tuners fitted during construction that adds a $1000 to the cost and a $1200 Karura case.
After much soul-searching we have arrived at a more reasonable $12,000
To put it simply: This is an excellent guitar, delivers power, projection and purity in every note. You owe it to yourself as a guitarist to experience this guitar.
