Description:
From the workshop of Paulino Bernabé this model 50 is a handmade classical guitar for concert performances.

It is elegant and timeless, featuring Madagascar rosewood back and sides and Canadian cedar top.

It is French polished, fitted with high quality Rubner tuning machines, ebony reinforcement in the neck and beautiful purflings and rosette.

Typical of Bernabe’s cedar guitars, it delivers a romantic, haunting and enveloping Spanish sound. The trebles are clear and polished, the basses a profound and firm. The guitar has excellent separation and balance. And, its comfortable set up makes it a pleasure to play.

Pierre’s Observations:

Just arrived from the makers workbench.  I ordered this one because I’ve  liked them every time I play one. The PB50 is a handmade classical guitar for concert performances built by a maker at the peak of his powers, it delivers a romantic, haunting and enveloping Spanish sound. The trebles are clear and polished, the basses profound and firm. The guitar has excellent separation and balance. And, it’s comfortable set up makes it a pleasure to play.

I rate as one of the great trinity of concert guitars together with the Manuel Adalid Cathedral and the Vilaplana NT before you have to invest over $35,000 in your guitar.
