  • · Front: European spruce with traditional fan-strutting. Very even grain width and silky medullary figuring showing throughout. Rosewood bridge with bone framing to the tie-block.

  • · Scale: 65cm with 19 frets on a rosewood fingerboard

  • · Neck Width: 52 mm at the nut

  • · Condition: As New - all shellac french polished to high standard.

This is a beautifully made traditional concert spruce top with great clarity and balance offering both great playability and refinement with typical Granada Lyricism. The recently recorded YouTube clip featuring J S Bach Prelude 998 says it clearly and definitively!

OUR THOUGHTS

Thomas Holt is one of the new breed of guitar makers establishing themselves in Granada, Spain where the hone the trade and tradition from master guitar makers. In Thomas’s case , Rolf Eichinger (1945-2009) and also was influenced by the master guitar maker Antonio Marín Montero.
Thomas Holt was born in Denmark in 1977 and studied and worked, among other things, within the field of fine woodworking and acoustics.
As a guitar maker the main focus has been to do everything to achieve the highest possible quality in every single instrument leaving the workshop.
The guitars are made in the Spanish tradition, applying only the best materials and following very strict and proved methods of construction. Each piece of wood is carefully chosen and worked to achieve the best results in sound, durability and aesthetic appeal.
