The ensemble brings together guitarists from Venus Bay to Narre Warren who get together to rehearse twice each term.

Newhaven College Middle School Guitar Ensemble performs a Jurg Kindle composition which was inspired by an African tuned percussion instrument called the Mbira - known to Westerners as "the Kalimba.”

The piece comes from a set of three Jurg Kindle works entitled ‘Percussion Guitar Music.’
