GuitarsOnline
September 2021 Newsletter
These lockdowns have been tough.
So, it's time to reward yourself or a loved one for their commitment and effort.
|
|
We're also offering you a reward - we'd like to gift you a personal recital from one of Australia's most talented and generous classical guitarists and educators.
This month, Dr Daniel Nistico, has generously delivered a personal recital for all of our GuitarsOnline friends.
We thank Daniel for his generosity and we trust you enjoy his performance as much as we did.
|
|
Before you think about what your reward is going to be ...
Ask yourself a question!
It looks like we’re all going to be in various stages of lockdown for a little while longer …
So, in a few years, we’re all going to look back at this time, and say to ourselves – wow, I can’t believe I achieved all that during that COVID lockdown.
Now, when you look back, what is your biggest achievement going to be?
Enjoy a laugh and take the quiz below:
During my COVID lockdown, my most proud achievement was:
|
|
1. Finally getting my red wine consumption down to only one glass per day
|
|
|
2. Achieving the perfect home schooling/work from home balance
|
|
|
3. Investing in myself – investing in my children – and reigniting my lifelong passion for classical guitar.
|
|
|
Now, we might not be able to help you achieve option 1 or 2 – but, we can help you reignite your passion for classical guitar.
- Whether you or a loved one is just starting out (again) …
- Whether you’re reigniting a long-lost passion, or
- If, you’re rewarding yourself for the practice, time and effort you’ve put in, and investing in a new guitar that truly showcases your new skills.

Our new António Pinto Carvalho range:
Antonio Pinto Carvalho Guitars – excellent value for money, high-quality European built, complete guitar range.
I am often asked for good entry level guitars at affordable prices. Especially, by parents looking for smaller ½, ¾, 7/8 and even full size. So I have landed a whole range of entry level guitars from Antonio Pinto starting from traditional workmanship and craft and big sound from a tiny $280.
In 1976 António Pinto de Carvalho founded the company “António Pinto Carvalho” and today, is a craftsman with more than 50 years of experience and one of the most well known Luthiers in Portugal.
Our new range includes entry-level student guitars, through to mid-range and advanced study models, including cut-away and flamenco models.

Our exciting new Prudencio Saez range
At GuitarsOnline we have known Prudencio Saez for many years.
He is the third generation of artisans with a proud history of making fine Spanish guitars since 1963.
Prudencio Saez guitars are rich in tone and lively with a velvety tonal signature. As makers with their family name at stake they care about each guitar. They are small enough to do everything in the old artisanal way but large enough to field strong contenders across both the classical and flamenco world.
After many years of watching and testing the evolution of this maker GuitarsOnline are pleased to welcome this range of both their fan braced flamenco and classical models as well as their new Lattice models.
They are simply irresistible value and deliver great tone and projection

Rare and Exclusive Arrivals
Also at the high end of our new range are guitars from Angel Benito Aguado and the new Vicente Carrillo solid Cedar/ Indian Rosewood, plus more,
New Angel Benito Aguado models
We've now received several new Marizapalos guitars. Due to the popularity of these guitars, this will be our fourth order in six months!
Also new, are some of his new Estudio Palosanto in stunning Indian Rosewood., Estudio Ziricote and Estudio Sapeli

New Vicente Carrillo models
Coming from a family of broadly experienced guitar makers - Vicente Carrillo has managed to skilfully combine historical heritage with progress, also incorporating ideas and advice from renowned luthiers and internationally famous guitarists.
His New Generation of New Concept guitars, built with a ground-breaking internal system, are simply out of this world: power, clearness, timbre and balance like we have never seen before.
We are now stocking his modestly priced “India Estudio” models, which are top-of-the-line student/entry-level concert instruments in every way.
Materials are either spruce or cedar for the soundboard, Indian rosewood for the back and sides, ebony fingerboard, cedar neck and finished in a thin coat of very durable polyurethane. These guitars sound great and play extremely easily. All in, this represents a great value for the price.

Lattice and Double Top - New Arrivals
Over the years I have sold many fine examples from most Australian Lattice makers and I am still often asked for Lattice braced guitars since they are so popular here in Australia due to the power and projection they deliver in concert or exams.
However, good lattice guitars have typically ranged from $7,500 to $28,000, while cheaper lattice copies have lacked tone, colour and timbre and have been very disappointing, Until now!
The new models from Prudencio Saez and Vincente Carillo, are top-of-the-line student/entry-level concert instruments in every way. But at a price that represents incredible value.
