About Julian Rotin
Julian Rotin is available for private guitar instruction in Melbourne
"Julian Rotin is a contemporary guitarist who lives in Melbourne. Classically trained, he refined his technique playing a wide range of pieces from composers such as Bach, Brouwer, Charlton, Llobet, Mertz, and Albeniz and completed AMEB exams up to grade 7. He then went on to develop his contemporary technique. Becoming interested in Flamenco guitar he studied Flamenco guitarists such as Paco de Lucia, Paco Pena, and Vincente Amigo. Julian solidified his contemporary flamenco guitar technique and in recent years he specializes in contemporary Brazilian guitar. Julian’s training in both contemporary and classical disciplines give him a rich musical background and ability to teach guitarists at all levels.
Julian performs on a regular basis in various ensembles including duets, trios, quartets, and larger. He participated in the Victorian Youth Symphony Orchestra as a guest musician and performs regularly around Melbourne."
