Tom Chalko (classical guitar) and Tatiana Chalko (orchestra synthesizer) will play some of the most beautiful and memorable song compositions in the history of music.
Embark on a musical journey in time from a century before Bach through baroque, romanticism and jazz to the modern day. Imagine travelling around Earth and listening to music from many cultures across many continents.
In addition to folksongs, the program includes masterpieces by Frescobaldi, Bach, Schubert, Villa-Lobos, Llobet, Louis Armstrong and Gershwin - played either by guitar solo or guitar with an orchestra.
Performances will be accompanied by brief summaries of cultural and historic context of each composition.
Talk to artists and enjoy light refreshments after the performance.
