Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra - Gala 50th Anniversary Concert

The Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra celebrates its 50th anniversary with a spectacular concert at Deakin Edge. Enjoy the unique and thrilling sound of mandolins, mandolas and guitars, and renowned guitarists Slava and Leonard Grigoryan performing with the orchestra.
This concert by the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra is a celebration of 50 years of performing both in Australia and overseas and will feature fabulous music by Elena Kats-Chernin, Shaun Rigney, Handel, and others.
The concert will also feature some internationally renowned soloists, formerly players with the MMO, including Slava and Leonard Grigoryan and Joel Woods.
This concert is supported by the City of Melbourne Arts Grants Program.
