We at the Taranaki Classical Guitar Summer School are very excited to invite you back to Taranaki, New Zealand for another plucking good time with mentors, colleagues and friends (or people who are about to become your new friends).

This not-for-profit, family-friendly event celebrates the classical guitar community of New Zealand by creating a central place of learning in New Zealand. The Taranaki Classical Guitar Summer School is jam packed with workshops, masterclasses and ensembles designed to improve both your guitar playing and appreciation. This week is perfect for any guitarist from a Grade 2 level of playing and up, and is not suitable for the absolute beginner.

In addition to teaching, the beautiful New Plymouth will come alive to the sounds of a diverse line-up of entertainment featuring the best of the national and international classical guitar.
